chron deer+bio candy
I'm liking how this is turning out : D It's still a little dissonant, but it has a very bright dynamic feel too it. Also! Check the corner. I'm making a logo! : D I'm starting to like the little bugger. Needs some more but I think it does a good job representing my personality ^^
Dogs in Bathtubs
So, here's some more stuff. I've had very, verry little time on my hands this past week, probably won't get any better due to a big CS project I have to get done. But anyway! Here is a few scrappydos of stuff I've got.
started this yesterday XD I just had the image of Jamison making himself slighter in the pool as Sakura enters/departs and stops to talk to him. It's just silly, but cute. Probably one of my problems with these guys is that I like to step back and do something serious or slow with them, rather than comedic all the time. But it probably wouldn't be that funny then.
I did a quick sketch of Khrt, thinking about that conversation with Landy I had. Khrt probably just looks like another greyhound, and he is.. : ) He is a dark chocolatey brown with some lighter tan and white splotches on his chest and underside, perhaps his feet/legs too. He is a tad smaller than other greys, and has a bit thicker fur. Khrt has no vowels.. So he is pretty much exiled. He makes friends with whoever he can, and is a sturdy little guy. He is a common accessory to regular voweled greys, actually. Khrt is good at finding information and important objects, coming through for anyone. His attitude is melancholy but expressively kind when given time to speak and chuckle with another.
Good posts should come in pics of threes.. But I honestly couldn't find anything to throw in that's at a good rate of production. Ah, whatever

Comics- List of Aspirations
Thinks I want to alleviate from comics by doing this (in form of animal comics, but most apply to all)
-crying dogs (it's just unnatural)
-over-exaggerated methods of heirarchy (Captain princess lady wolfess! ELDERS!)
-Elders. To repeat.
-methods of lockstep progression (you must do this that and the other quest)
-wasting time by said errands.
-training.
-filler.
-drama in forms that parallel human relationships too much. (It's my baby! I'm divorcing you! Go find another gf!)
-too many human emotions
-battles on the scale of human warfare(battling in small is okay, but I don't think animals are that orderly and "dispatch" regiments to kill each other and such.)
-Good guy, evil guy
-terrible narrations (Hi I'm a guy, 6'3" and I have a superpower)
-unnecessary superpowers. (If present, only use as a main function of the plot.)
-Unnecessary Unique-ness (freaking wild colors)
-unattatchment to dying characters (death is important, let's not bastardize it.)
-unnecessary bloodshed and gore (because death is important, only do it if it's important. Gore is not for entertainment, it's for sympathy.)
-bad sound effects (pow!)
-clothes for animals
-stuffy panels
-onslaughts of text (it's a picture story! Tell as much as you can with pictures)
-utterly beautiful comics (they are sensory overload and painful to write)
-very bad distinctions between gender (eyelashes for animals, mounds of hair for boobs)
-too many rules
-too big of a background to remember (it is Squidtopia, where this and that tier of people have.. this and that.. the other map, charts of rules for this world. officers, types of magic, metal beats plant, blah blah blah. It's good to rely on intrinsic intelligence and curiousity of the reader.)
-cookiecutter character types (elves, the tsundere, etc)
-sexy animals
Things I want to promote
-solid storylines
-quick, finished, to the point progressing plot
-meanderings that are also meaningful and wonderful
-whole characters that you care about
-mysteries and ambiguity
-objectivity as well
-working character designs that don't overload or underload
-a level of grey for many or all characters
-motion, breach of the self (paint the spirit with the object)
-short, concentrated stories with goodness. The shorter I can make it and the harder I can impact you, the better.
-I want to make you cry, rejoice, listen, and bond.
-departures from logic as in, entering a higher conscience (or trippiness)
It's still unfinished, but it's a list of things I want to shoot for : ) Or atleast things I want to see shot for.
